Sentiment Analysis of Emotion Tweets

Sentiment Analysis of Emotion Tweets

Sentiment analysis is the process of detecting positive or negative sentiment in text. It is often performed to help businesses to monitor their brands, product sentiments especially in customer feedbacks and also understand what they need.

I have been given an interesting dataset which is basically a collection of about 40000 tweets annotated with 13 different emotions behind them.

With the use of Natural Language Processing (NLP) technique, we can determine if a tweet is positive, neutral or negative. To most people happiness and love are often perceived as something very positive, however in my sentiment analysis, it is interestingly to have found those tweets with negative sentiments. Likewise to the worry and hate tweets where positive sentiment were found in them.
